The WA SSTV NET is an informal group of like minded radio amateurs who get together to send and receive pictures, make comments and have a chat.

The net operates on 40 meters on 7.214MHz Winter(AU) 0800-0900 UTC (04:00 WST) or Summer(AU) 0830-0930 UTC (04:30pm WST) daily using EasyPal and MMSSTV digital and Analog SSTV programs for Windows and qsstv for linux , With a Mix in modes. - In winter or when the conditions on 40 meters prevent its use, you will find us on 80 meters at 3.630Mhz at 0800-0900 UTC

All amateurs are welcome to join in sending pictures or just in receive mode.

Foundation license holders are welcome to join and try out an exciting mode

EasyPal

EasyPal is a digital SSTV program using a soundcard to encode and decode the SSTV signals. It’s also a very flexible software tool for sending and receiving files other than picture files.

MMSSTV

MMSSTV is a program developed by JE3HHT- Makoto Mori for amateur radio operators to transmit and receive analog SSTV signals using a PC soundcard. With this SSTV (slow scan television) utility, images can be sent and received using a computer, a keying circuit and a ham radio.
